What is a Franchise?

A turn-key business

Franchises are organizations that grant an individual or group the right to carry out specific commercial activities for a company's products. In the travel industry, there are several different franchises that have created brand recognition and possibly even a built-in customer base. Purchasing a franchise usually means buying a "turn-key business" with rights to their marketing, branding, technology, and supplier contracts.

Do I have to buy a franchise?

Not at all! The option is entirely up to you. If you are looking to jump right into business with an existing brand, in-depth training, and mentorship, franchises can really help you out. However, most franchises require adhereance to universal operating procedures to ensure a similar customer experience and do not allow independent agencies to use their own individual branding.
